Diverse Character Releases New Video for Hit Single ‘Happy Place’. Monday, August 31, 2015 - LRE (Lonely Road Entertainment) artist Diverse Character has released his brand new music video for his hit song "Happy Place", the single from his forthcoming mixtape "Golden Memories". To view the video from the up and coming Hip-Pop artist visit his YouTube channel.
Happy Place, a fan favorite, produced by L. David was released in November 2014 with Diverse Character outing controversial lyrics like “What’s wrong with drugs, as long as you feel all right” and sighting this as his happy place -his happy state of mind. When asked, he further explained “drugs” giving the song significant life and adding an in-depth meaning to the song. “My Happy Place is my drug. My drug is anything that creates an atmosphere conducive to me being happy. A drum set can be a drug to a drummer – a stage can be an actor/actresses’ drug of choice because it creates an escape from this sometimes horrible world we live in.” said Diverse. The video features verse all alone in a tree, on the river and in a beautiful field with euphoric scenery and looking happy! Filmed in various locations all over Central New Jersey including Princeton and Trenton. "Happy Place" was directed and co-produced by LRE co-founder Davonte Washington, who is also scheduled to direct the music video for the track "Village of Feelings" (featuring NYC rapper ‘Mickey Factz’). Mickey Factz, who is an accomplished MC, has worked with such high profile subjects as Erykah Badu, Marsha Ambrosia and even Drake. Styled by Nicole K, Diverse Character flaunts a very unique ensemble creating an east meets west visual. "Nicole K is a really gifted stylist and has worked with me on several of my albums and videos...She knows fashion." It was important to Diverse to share his own real-life happy places with his fans, so every location in this video in one way or another has inspired "his happy state of mind." # # # For more information about Diverse Character and his EP ‘Golden Memories’, please contact: Name: SolÉ Maurice Email: [email protected] Phone: 347-855-9854 [email protected]. |
